Important: Use cold, day-old jasmine rice. Fresh rice is too moist and makes fried rice mushy.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Cooking Spam in pan

1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add diced Spam and cook until crispy and golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.

Scrambling eggs

2. Push Spam to one side. Crack eggs into the pan and scramble until fully cooked.

Mixing rice and vegetables

3. Add cold, day-old jasmine rice, peas, carrots, and garlic. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes to remove moisture.

Pouring soy sauce

4. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix thoroughly so every grain gets coated.

Finished fried rice

5. Finish with green onions, give it a final toss, and serve hot.
